Zine Club

Zine: a short form, independent publication ; a miniature maga[zine]. I have been a member and regular contributor since its inception in the summer of 2023. The following is a gallery of said work.

Issue #1: Pest

Concept / Formatting contribution:

The issue was predominantly text based. Utilized a centipede illustration throughout zine to help visually present theme and create breaks between reads.

Issue #2: Time/Time Change

Cartoon series entry:

Interplayed with the theme of time passage in the 2D (the cartoons story) and the 3D plane (the readers movement throughout the zine).

Issue #3: Death & Birth

Cover design & Illustration:

Made illustration contributions through the cover art and visual based entry.

Contributed concept design to inform the covers treatment of the titles typography.

Issue #4: A pair of strangers

Portrait graphic:

Used black and white polaroid photography, photoshop, and the words uttered to me while taking this photo to express the essence of the then stranger turned person I am proud to call friend.
